How are the new little pets doing?

My Boots is 7 months old now, he has been with us for 4 months. He is growing so fast!

He's a total furball (short haired domestic cat my arse ;)) He's fuzzbutt defined! He loves to eat people's toes - it doesn't matter who, anyone who comes in though our door has their toes chomped on! His favourite game is getting a bit of long grass from the garden and bringing it inside, where he proceeds to run all around the house with it.

I think we have a bit of a kitten-genius on our hands. He comes to the bathroom with me when I brush my teeth, and drinks out of the tap. Not only that but he was playing with the plug one night, so I put it in the sink. When I took it out he picked it up in his teeth and put it back in the plughole! He also has this vibrating toy that works when you pull the cord - he'll manipulate it into the right position with his paws, grab a hold of the end of the cord with his teeth and pull it himself  He's a hard case :)

His other favourite game is to chase our 12 year old cat around. He worked out pretty quick that she reacts to him by hissing and spitting, so he gets her riled up for fun. Cheeky boy, she'll get him a good right hook one day!

LOL anjul, boots sounds like a real hardcase

Well Milly is settling in really well. the first couple of nights were a bit rough, and had us thinking what have we done with the way she would bark. but for the last 5 nights she has not barked over night at all, so we are very pleased about that. and she is getting to be really good with the kids. initially she kept wanting to jump up on Sam especially, but shes not doing that so much now which is great. And shes starting to respond to some simple commands like sit, down and bed which is cool.

Another thing thats been great is all 4 of us have been taking milly for walks to the beach and around our area which has been fun for all of us. Theres lots of interesting things for milly and the kids to see, as we live in a rural area :D
