We had our 1st session tonight there were two other dogs there too (wer meeting another owner next session as they werent there tonight)
We got info on toliet training, how to deal with nipping/bitting and jumping up on us (skye does this when shes execited to see us )
and showed us how to teach a dog to sit using treats. the dog trainer showed the class and demonstrated with skye.
skye enjoyed herself and loved playing with the other puppies. got told she is very cute lol :)
i have some photos of her on my cell phone il ask dh how to get them on the computer.

just wondering how do we stop the yapping, she doesnt like it when i go inside, she'l sit at back door yapping, dnt really wana upset the neighbours with her yapping. the dog trainer said to ingore her if shes yapping espically at nightime(she has stoped yapping at nighttime now)

Glad to hear she's doing well, Charlotte.
I'm not sure what to advise re: the yapping. Mals don't really yap, so it's not something I have experience with.

we got a letter in the mail on tuesday from city council, someone complained about the barking :( i feel embrassed.wev only had her 3 and half weeks.
it said early morning and evening, the lady at puppy preschool sugguest that i get up b4 skye wakes up to get her out of kennel b4 she starts barking .
Andrew rang up council and they said if she cnt be quiet than use a coller thing on her which sends shocks to her when she barks, which i think is horrible shes only 12wks old , shes a puppy, ther still learning. the puppy preschool lady agreed with me and gave us some sugguestions.
also she is bitting now which is not good! so we got told to hold her down on her side till she calms down and if she still bitting to put her in timeout, i have noticed she starts that when shes execited.
--------------- Added with 24 hours ---------------
we did her rego on tuesday so thats all sorted.
