Anyone else have pet fish in the house.

I have upgraded a few months ago from a 60L Tank to a 220L Tank, just a plain glass tank sitting on a homemade stand.
Started out with 6 Swordtails, now have about 15, didn't have the heart to flush them, hence the bigger tank.
And a heap of snails.

My flatmate has a tank that he scored when a mate went overseas. Some of the fish have died and he hasn't had money to replace them yet. Main feature of the tank is a Graham Henry figurine sitting at the bottom :greenlol:

Started out "for the kids", but now it's just for me.

It's almost ready to add some more fish, I must get in touch with the guy that I got the plants off, he breeds the fish I want.

if you get an abundance of water snails - sell them on TM - saw some a few months ago for sale and they sold for $30 for 15 snails - for memory... it was something crazy like that - i actually rang my grandfather and asked if he still had heaps in his tank as when i was younger we used to pull then out in their 100's and take them to the pet shop and cell them for 20 cent or 50 cents each and split the money between us!! only once or twice a year... but still...
