How does the rain effect your pets? It must be hard for outdoor pets but even with cats and dogs you tend to end up with muddy wet paw prints. Maybe we should all get mudrooms :)

I got soooooo fed up with Khufu (cat) coming into our room at night sopping wet. So now he's stuck in the family room/kitchen at night. Mean mummy LOL

Sid is quite prone to wanting cuddles when he's just come in from the rain. I tell him to piss off, then he goes and tries to cuddle with Flossy and she gets up and walks off...

My Dog isn't keen on the rain but will go out for walks in it.
My old cat is fairly unfazed by rain and will normally find a dry corner of the shed, or just call loudly from the back door to come in.
My chickens just stay in the chock house all day.
The Ducks if its just a shower will play in the pond, but if its heavy rain they sit under a bush or in their house.
My goats just bleat pathetically from the goat house.
My kitten is yet to see rain, as she doesn't go outdoors yet.

we have three dogs. for the most part they enjoy the rain. play in it and whatnot. but when it comes time to come inthe house, no way. we close the door to the entry way that is still outside, so they are in a porch basically and there they stay all nice and protected and lots of room to move around. our one dog is scared of thunderstorms tho so when i know one is coming he comes in the house or he will try to run from the storm.

my cat is silly - a few times she has come in all we at she has decided to sit out in the rain well under a tree instead of on the door step - when she does come in she will sit infront of the heater and dry out
