my horse died

One of the horses we board here for the summer died last night during the storm. He was 19 years old. His name was Dynasty. he was beautiful. We think either his heart gave out from fear of the storm, or lightening struck the ground close to him and he died from that. The owner understands we aren't responsible and is being extremely understanding. His burial is today. i am sad he passed away, but he was a pretty old horse and had been sick the past two years. we thought he was doing better.

i was sad when my husband told me what happened. i went and had a look at Dynasty and shed a tear or two. i hate when animals are hurt or killed or suffer or are abused. so its sad to me that he died while in my care, tho i know its not something i could have prevented. thank you.
